Keep AranVision on your device
Open engineering tools and your project workspace from an app icon. This is the Canadian website as an installable web app, not an App Store download.
Installation is optional and free. An internet connection is required for cloud features.
iPhone and iPad
- Open this website directly in Safari. If you followed a WhatsApp or email link, choose Open in Safari first.
- Open Safari’s Share menu (the square with an upward arrow). Depending on your version, it may be inside the More menu.
- Choose Add to Home Screen. If it is missing, look under Edit Actions.
- Keep Open as Web App enabled if that switch is shown. Name it AranVision and tap Add.
- Launch the new AranVision icon from your Home Screen.
Apple requires you to confirm these steps; a website button cannot install the app silently. You may need to sign in again inside the installed app.
Laptop, desktop and Android
In Chrome or Edge, use the installation icon in the address bar when offered, or the browser menu’s app-install option. A button appears above when the browser makes its installation prompt available.
If no install option appears, open the site in a normal browser window, check your browser’s app menu, and check whether it is already installed. Availability can depend on browser version or your organisation’s device policy.
On Android, the browser may offer Install app or Add to Home screen. On a Mac using Safari, look for Add to Dock.
What installation does — and does not do
The app uses the same website and account permissions. It does not unlock a subscription, grant access to another user’s projects, or connect to a PLC. An internet connection is required for sign-in, cloud projects, proposals and payments.
For selected offline tools, use the separately scoped offline field kit. Installing the main website does not make all pages available offline.
